5th Gen Spotted Thread

Dad spotted me on Google maps

My Dad told me that Google maps finally updated the street view in their neighborhood. He said, I check it out to see how our new landscaping looks on there and I see your "monster truck" parked right in front.
Oops, sorry pops! Haha!!!

While running some errands today, we were heading into the parking lot in front of Target on Balboa, and passed this sweet 5th Gen coming out. Lots of mods, including front and rear bumpers, snorkel, rack, etc. Even had the 3D printed "Trail" emblem. I wonder it belongs to someone here?

These shots were taken from my dash cam video:

Ray - I live 3 blocks from that Target/Home Depot and have seen that 5th Gen a few times in the lot and printed out some T4R.org invites out for him if I see it parked there again. Hopefully we can them signed up and active.

That looks like a custom bumper also...

I would say it was. I haven't seen any like it. There were no cut outs for lights etc., just a slot cut out for the winch. Looked pretty mean with just a big piece of metal and recovery points up front. Who ever owns it definitely did a lot of work to it.

i've seen that red one too with that baby on board sticker.
what are you rolling with? i'll keep an eye out if i'm ever in ktown.

17 white off road w/ front runner roof rack and bfg ko2s, same susp. Set up as yours. Also have the trd off road emblems on my hatch.

I was thinking of doing the same to my hatch. add the 4x4 and TRD.
hope to spot you one day.

Saw this contraption in Irvine, CA last Friday 9/29.... is this anyone on here!!?!

Seems like they should mount that fuel can on the other side of the ladder. Then it wouldn't block the license plate and rear view camera.

On Danforth Ave around Pape Ave in Toronto. It was blue and had the heritage grill and TRD Pro badging. Not sure if it was an actual Pro or an SR5, the front bumper was still blue

Well, that's "overland" for you. Just throw a bunch of shit on your rig with no rhyme or reason. I mean, there's a fire extinguisher mounted to the rear of the exterior roof. I don't know about you but if there was a fire, I'd want to be able to grab my extinguisher immediately without having to exit the vehicle, run to the back, get up to the roof(fighting the Rotopax that's mounted to the ladder rendering it pretty much useless from the looks of this photo), unstrap 3 straps and then get to the location of the fire....lol The more you have on there the better I guess lol
