6.5" Skar EVL-65 w/ JBL & Navigation

I just ordered the 2 ohm Skar 6.5" subwoofers for the front doors. I just realized that these are dual voice coils and i will have to run these either at 1ohm or 4 ohms by connecting them either parallel or series.

Are these going to work? And if so what would be better while using the factory amp and headunit, 1ohm or 4 ohms?

Maybe they will work, likely they will not. The JBL Amp does the crossover for the doors and it is around 300-400 Hz. Those subwoofers are not meant to play that high. Also, the sensitivity of the subs is too low to run off of the JBL amp and match the dash speakers, which you can't adjust the gain.

Thanks for the reply.... the sad thing is they offer a 4ohm version i could have got to wire it down to 2ohm to match the factory amp.
