Hey everyone-
In my eagerness to get my TC fluid changed, I grabbed the two quarts of Mobil 1 synthetic 75W-90 I had in my garage and drained/filled the transfer case. Afterwards, I realized that I had used the “LS” variation of the fluid - presumably for a limited slip differential. I think I had this leftover from my old Grand Cherokee.
Is it bad to have put this in my TC? I haven’t driven it yet so I could swap it out again but figured I’d check the collective wisdom of this forum before dropped $30 on new fluid for new reason.
