i am hoping you guys could give me some opinions. before i rebuildt my 22re (with the much needed help of a friend) i had an issue that happened quiet a bit. not all the time but alot of it. at take off, some times it stutters real bad and dosent want to go. i usally push in the clutch and rev it up and try again. if i just keep the peddle down itll eventully get the rpms up and once they pick up it runs fine. when i rebuildt the truck i did a complete rebuild but reinstalled all the old parts as far as tps throotle body etc. i redid the valves and shaved the head etc. during the break in period this problem went away so i assumed it was from me cleaning most the gunk out of the intake parts. then i noticed the rpms would drop and surge when i came to a stop. it only happened when the brake was applied. i did some research and read that if your idle is set to high it will do this. i dropped the idle a bit and that issue was resolved. how ever the stutter at take off came back. its allmost like mabey i put the idle to low and now it loads up... mabey if i found the perfect idle position it would stop??? i dont have the tach cluster so im not sure where the idle is. the check engine light dont come on so im assuming having a tech plug it into the comp wouldnt give me any info. opnions welcomed. thanks.:redbrick:
