One more shot in the dark, then, are you looking at the A340E or the A340F? Yours should be the F, and there may a difference.

Good luck. I know how frustrating it is to be completely lost on a repair. The auto trans section of the FSM has a troubleshooting guide, have you looked at that yet?

This information is a little hit and miss. I do have the F. And the part number I got has sources selling it for the F and some exclude the F.

I better dig into this a little more. Thanks.

I am not near my books ,but that sets off the alarms. I don't know that they are interchangeable since they used different computers
