Okay so I know that it's not too hard but I can't find any directions and I haven't done it for a Toyota yet.

The passenger side window was broken in to. I have a replacement window now I just need some help with what's the best way to do it, or links for help because I can't find any!

Thanks

There's a link to the factory service manual up top, go get it and download it.

Pull the door handle and window crank handle. Remove the door panel. Peel the weather trim out of the channel it sits in, don't remove it entirely. Put the crank back on long enough to lower the window so you can access the two 12mm bolts attaching the window to the regulator arm. Remove the window, slide the new window into the channel and bolt it to the arm, roll the window all the way down, replace the weather seal, roll it up and put everything back together. This is obviously slightly different if you have power windows, but you get the idea.

It's easier said than done. You'll probably teach yourself some new swear words wrestling the new glass into the channel, but if there's a trick to make that easier I don't know it.

I've done it several times when rebuilding doors,
The directions above are pretty accurate, and it's pretty simple.

Thanks guys.

Haha, this house hold is pretty uncouth as it is! As fun as you guys have made it sound, still pretty excited to get started on it. :jump:

Thanks again!

Edit: definitely kept missing the factory manual, though is was right in front of me. Think it's time to find my glasses ha
