lately has been giving me a lot of problems. burning oil really bad. losing compression and alot of misfiring. I was thinking about doing a engine rebuild kit instead of a new motor because i cant afford it. would it be worth it? i know i asked before in another post but didnt get any help so here i am again haha thanks in advance

I purchased a long block from KarKings out of Ontario California. My fresh 3.0 cruises at 70 mph in fifth gear. pulls when I down shift to pass and climbs the eastern sierra when asked. oh and I get 18 MPG too:girl:

thats what i need haha. I live in Johnson City, TN so we have alot of trails around here and plenty of fields heh. I wasn't thinking of putting an entire motor I was thinking more of the rebuild kits that come from here TOYOTA 3.0 V-6 . i am starting to lose a little bit of compression and i am only getting from 8-10 mpg. i can hit 70 but thats top speed haha. I was going to put a K&N cold air intake and a flowmaster. that should definately help with gas mileage right? in a few months I will be putting a new suspension and manual hub lockers. My biggest problem is I dont have an actual cooling fan. The guy who had mine before me put a TINY electric fan bolted to the radiator and he cut the thermostat to where it constantly runs. so slow driving cause me to overheat. as soon as thats fixed I cant wait to use it's true potential. What do you think? Anything else im missing? I have a 4" lift and 33/12.5s on it.
