Hi, I have just bought a 91 2.4lt 4runner and want to lift it up.
I am new here so hello!
If this has already been discussed, I am sure it has been plenty of times, could someone please refer me to the page/link. I have tried searching but can only finder later model info.
My questions:
I want to lift my suspention around 2" for bette clearance, but dont want to destroy the ride too much.
What is the best way to do this? After market springs and shocks, Lift blocks (dont like them), or springs/shocks from another car like a landcruiser or prado?
What sort of springs should I be using? Should I go for a brand like tough dog or old man emu? Or are land cruiser springs ok to use?
Regarding the land crusier springs, will I need to install new shocks? or can I use the standard shocks from the 4runner, or do the land crusier shocks fit?
I assume the landcruiser springs only fit the back, what is the best set up for the front?
