'91 4runner and hilux body parts

I want to buy fenders, hood, bumper and other frontal stuff, since I made a light crash lately.

I was told in one supply parts seller that Hilux 4WD (1989-1997) has the same body details as my 4runner and tries to sell me those.

Then I went to Toyota service and they told me that they have heard someone trying to assemble Hilux fender but it had a different angle at fender light's side, so it didn't fit.

Who knows the truth?

Typically, for the same generation vehicle (body style), 4Runner and p/u parts, 2WD and 4WD, are interchangeable. So you could put a 2WD p/u fender on a 4WD 4Runner. The 2WD version doesn't have the built in flare for wider tires like the 4WD version does, but it bolts up. But I would take some measurements first and compare. For example, 84-89 trucks and Runners doors can be swapped, but I don't think teh can be on the next generation (90+). But usually, fenders, grills, glass, seats, etc, etc, etc, are interchangeable.

Hey, I found this thread that suited my question so I'm bumping this up.

I have a -93 V6 Runner that has a rusted fender/wing. I was wondering if the -89 to -97 Hilux wing would be interchangeable with it?

The "Hilux" trucks were replaced by the Tacoma in 1995.5 and the 4Runner/truck similarities pretty much vanished at that point.
What do you mean by "wing"?

As far as I am aware the US spec 4runner and hilux 4wd LN 106, LN 107 and LN 109 pickups got identical fenders, front end (except the headlights/grill) and front doors. HIlux surf 2nd gen and 2nd gen 4runners are identical in body/frame.
