91' rear end problem....

Just got a 91' 4runner, looked good, 6 bolt rims, rusty, ran great, perfect compression. Well, was driving today, and the rear shock broken, but not the shock itself, the metal it was bolted to! I don't know if it is called a "shock mount" or what, but that whole plate of metal broke. Anyone have any fixing ideas/done befores or anything?

if you have the tools (welder and a grinder) clean where it was and reweld it. if not take it in and have a shop fix it up. you might need new mounts if the old ones bent or got trashed in some way but if not, a reweld should sove it.

I'm thinking I'm going to have to rebuild the whole rear part of the frame. I started to sandblast the area to re-weld, and there just isn't enough metal there. Anyone have a pic of how the rear end is suppose to look? Most importantly, how the shocks mount up.
