94 Landcruiser NEW FAMLIY MEMBER

This is my new addition to my family.

Its a 94 Lancruiser with 150,000 miles, and I just learned from another forum that it has a In line V6. Paid $7900 for it, needs a little work but I like it. I'll be usining it as a trail rig.

Great truck, it's like a tank!! Had a 94, with Red exterior, brown cloth interior. It was a solid truck. Traded it in on the 97 LX450 (same basic truck) The inline 6 is a solid engine. Just feels so old and heavy next to the new 4Runner. Waiting to unload it. Maybe if a new LX comes out in the next year.

Perfect trail rig Biff. I had one and it was almost unstoppable in its stock form. A couple of mods and it will be absolutely awesome as a trail rig. Good luck. (and I hope you don't run out of money, you have two trucks to mod now)

Check out www.ih8mud.com their 80's section will enlighten you. Should be able to get 300K+ with regular maintance. Had the birfields on your new rig been repacked yet? Does it have lockers? I had a 95 FZJ80 with 136K on it and traded for the 4runner. I was going to wait till the FZJ80 wore out before I traded but I figured I would be too old to drive by the time that happened

Do a search on that site. Type in birfields and read your ass of. I did not say replaced, I said repacked.

That is a nice looking rig. I saw a picture of the steering wheel and I was wondering, does it come with air bags or is 94 too early for air bags? I am sure you will enjoy it.

Airbags were added in 95

94 had the big bus transmission that is almost impossible to break.
