'95 3.0 head question

Hey Guys, new to the site.I see a lot of good info from guys that been there done that. I just picked up a 1995 with 170,000 on a 3.0. I see that there is head problems with the 3.0. I heard that Toyota had a recall at one time to replace the head gaskets. I also heard that with the late 95 3.0 Toyota had solved the problem. Any in put would be appreciated... thanks
