Hi all
I have a 95 4runner with the 3.0 v6, its always ran fine but now it won't start. It cranks over fine but doesn't even sputter like it wants to start. I has spark, I even changed the plugs and wires since they were really bad. I then checked the pump fuse and efi relay they seem fine, I broke loose the fuel line on the manifold and it has fuel pressure. I also sprayed some gas down the throttle body while someone was cranking it over and still not even a sputter. So now I'm kinda stumped. Could I have possibly jumped a tooth on the timing belt? I replaced the water pump a couple of years ago and the belt was in good shape but it didn't seem that tight, not sure how much tension supposed to be on it though. Or is there something else I'm missing, appreciate any input.
