'95 3vze with headers - oil cooler

I have a '95 4runner 3vze with doug thorny headers. When the headers were installed the oil cooler had to be moved and now its hanging down off the frame. I want to move it up, but there's no place it will fit that is within reach of the stock cooler lines. Has anyone run into this and figured out a pair of replacement lines that can be used?

I didnt think you had to take the "oil cooler" off. Whats in the way that the oil cooler cant go back to the original spot?

The only problem with my thorleys is that I couldnt get the AS system back to the original spot so it is now impossible to get the #5 spark plug out with out removing the AS valve. And the gaskets didnt fit right.

Sorry, I should have said the transfer case oil cooler. Its a small cooler toward the passenger side connected to the transfer case by two lines with metric banjo fittings on the end. The transfer case holds less than a quart of oil so there's not much there.

Careful here. Im assuming you have an auto tranny, thats what the coolers for. your t case and tranny share the same fluid, and there should be way more than a quart in there, maybe just under a quart in the t case sump...

You might need a little more than 6 quarts, especially if you drain the transfer case sump too (center just behind the tranny pan). There are 3 places to drain from; the tranny pan, the transfer case sump pan and the transfer case itself. And 2 places to fill from; the tranny dip stick tube and the transfer case fill plug.

Oooo you have an auto trans. Ok well My guess is this...does it work hanging down the way it is? If so than is it below the lowest point of the truck (axle)? If not I would leave it alone. If leaving it the way it is...is not an option than what is in the way of the cooler going back where it is supposed to go (problem why it cant go back)?

O.K., now I understand whats going on anyway. Since the muffler shop welded it on I don't think this one can be moved. Its working where it is and is higher than the axle, so I'll leave it where its at. Since its not available anymore I'll keep my eyes open for a used one, but I'm not going to stress over it.
