97 Headlight conversion question

Hey Guys,

Been lurking on this forum for a while now, finally thought I should join.
Anyhow, I have been researching the site for doing an upgrade to the stock headlights.

I currently drive a 1996 4Runner, and I wanted to swap in the crystal clear headlights.

My question is: are the 99-00 headlights identical, including the corner lights, because i have looked at a set of black housed ones on ebay for 97 4runner and they are 40$ more in price, when they look identical to the 00 headlights.

I did a search, and it appears that the headlights are the same, but are the corner lights the same for those years?

Any help would be appreciated before I decide to purchase.

I think I remember hearing that they are a little different, but I think you should be fine.

The 99+ headlights look a lot better. One of the better upgrades I've done to mine.
