'97 trailer lights

Got a 1997, looking to tow a popup camper.

Never towed anything before.

4Runner's got a hitch, but can't figure out lights/wiring/hookups. Don't even know where to start. Don't want to pay an arm and a leg to get it done.

Got a week to figure it out.

Help!

I think there's a couple different companies making trailer kits for that.
I went to autozone and found one for my '88.

Yea same here bought a kit from Advance auto. It is very easy if you are at all mechanically inclined. If not i'd be happy to walk you through it. This is a 30-45 min job that you can do just fine with our help. I can keep an eye on my phone and respond immediately to walk you through it if you have issues with the instructions.
