Pics coming up of Sub...amp is neatly installed under seat out of view so no way to really take a good pic of it....I can try harder tomorrow if its something you are really interested in.....all I know is you can make your ears ring in this thing and vibrate the entire truck, all while still having super clear quality sound. I will miss it...you can turn heads with how loud this darn thing is

Thank you sir...I appreciate it....I am going to miss it....sunk lots of money into it thinking she would be my road tripping machine for 10 years and really log some dirt miles on it....but I have a medical legal issue that has bled me dry so I am selling it purely out of financial desperation....

If all turns out well, I will be back to looking for a 3rd Gen 4runner or a new Tacoma Access cab TRD Off road 4x4 to basically do the same thing, put some coilovers on it, winch bumper, and sliders and skids....but not for now reality check with the money problems!

I really, really really appreciate your prayers. It means a lot. Past year has been hell, but I am surrounded by friends and family who love me, and my faith has been strengthened in the adversity.

I am a medically retired cop, worked patrol, peer support, SWAT, police academy instructor. I also was a volunteer college coach at Georgetown and ran their athletic ministry. Anytime I was not doing police work, I was volunteering coaching and doing ministry. I got injured, had botched surgeries from crappy work comp doctors whom they did not allow me a second opinion prior to surgeries because "it cost too much".....their doctors nearly killed me, permanent internal damage to my intestines, and they collapsed my endocrine, immune and digestive systems. I went from a jacked strength coach and SWAT dude to obese and bedridden, barely able to perform basic life functions. I moved to LA for integrative doctors, in a few years they got me health enough to go to grad school, in winters I coached NFL combine athletes, and summers did volunteer sports ministry. Last summer I got a new work comp case worker which happens all the time, this one tells me I do not look disabled and I cost too much in medical bills, so he will be my "life coach" and force me to work full time (mind you my medical records are perfectly clear I cannot), and I was not allowed to pursue a PhD or do ministry. Plus he cut off all my medical care and approved only Vicodin and Xanax, because its cheap. Lots of other shady stuff my employer and the insurance company did, dragging me through court for a year now with no evidence, they keep losing decisions that judge says they are in bad faith, have no right to prosecute me, and to resume my pay and medical care...but they keep appealing....delaying paperwork until the last day it can be filed, just to prolong it....so I have not had a paycheck or my medical care in an entire year, my life is on hold, my health is endangered, and to them its a game of ego...the lawyer is young and trying to make a name for herself, the case worker "life coach" was a guy younger than me with a massive protruding pot belly, skinny arms, bowl cut hair, and wrinkled clothes frumpy goof. Bet he thought he was the man getting to boss around some SWAT guy ex football player and coach, like I am the evil one....and I am the bad guy on disability for going to grad school, working as much as I can around my issues, and doing lots of volunteer ministry to help kids....and they want to get me off integrative care and to take Vicodin and Xanax to save them money....

yea, its been nuts....so hence me selling a rig I put tons of money into and planned on keeping forever until it rotted away or was at 300k miles and wheeled to hell and back....

So.....this will allow me to pay rent a few months and avoid being homeless, and buy some food and pay off some credit cards I have been using to survive and pay for some of my prescriptions and medical needs.

So...prayers are totally appreciated man, and hearing your story is very encouraging.

Thank you. I appreciate the support. I am not alone, and you are correct they do not take care of combat vets like they should. And cops and firemen either. Its delay, deny, ignore until you go away or then they threaten to make your life hell and if you do not comply they will do so....

Check this out, make sure to click on the numbered boxes/tabs to read the full article, it is long but it tells stories about cops getting screwed by the exact same company pulling this on me. And our employers (ie the governments in charge of the police and fire depts) stand by this company to save money.

When this mess ends, even though it will have to be in my Jeep TJ, I would love to meet some of you guys for wheeling or trail rides if you are in Cali or AZ. I was so busy in grad school that I only went to Big Bear a few times in my Jeep, and this past year my bucket list was all kinds of wheeling in the TJ locally and wheeling and road tripping the 4runner to various locations in Cali and west coast. The 4runner is soooooooooooooo much better on the highway than a Jeep, do not get me wrong I love Jeeps...but after having a 4runner I will want another one. Lifted Jeeps and lifted Full Size pickup trucks (which is all I pretty much have owned since getting my license) both have their perks, I love the V8s in full sizes and K5s and short bed pickups of old with single cabs rock, but they also are a big hard to maneuver in some off road situations, and depending on the lift can be rough riding. Jeeps are almost like a darn quad off road they are so nimble, but no guts under the hood and highway riding over an hour is not fun.

That 4runner felt nimble and like it would be comparable to a Jeep off road, and on the highway it rode like a luxury car to me (remember I have never owned a car in my life, only full size 4x4s and Jeeps). With the 5 speed it was not a dog, yea I still miss the V8, but overall the 3rd Gen 4runner seems like it could be a nice compromise of highway trips and good in woods. Perfect for camping, hunting trips, trail rides exploring etc.

So now I guess I will daydream someday of finding another 3rd Gen 4runner with the stock rear locker and 5 speed...or perhaps giving a new Tacoma access cab TRD Off Road a try. Maybe some coilovers, add a leaves, ARB bumper, winch, sliders and a skid would make that little truck a good road tripping and light wheeling vehicle.

I appreciate those prayers big time....scary how long the appeal might take, and if they lose they still have one more appeal after that they can make...which I literally could be homeless by depending on how long the first appeal takes
