99 4Runner Limited 4x4 suspension mods advice needed

I've got a 99 4Runner Limited 4x4 supercharged that I want to level up the front to the back.

It never sat totally level since I got it.

It used to have the following suspension on it with rear raked up higher;

Front

Stock tall 99 Limited coils on OEM struts
ToyTec 3" spacer lift
Diff Drop kit

Rear

OME 891 coils
Monroe Air shocks (set at 10#)

Now it has the following suspension on it;

Front

2004 TRD Tundra 4x4 front coils with new Monroe Sensa Trac Gas struts
ToyTec topout spacer - 1/2"
Diff Drop kit

Rear

OME 891 coils
Monroe Air shocks (set at 10#)

The front still sits lower then the rear. I also have an ARB Sahara front winch bumper with a Mile Marker 9500# winch on the front. I think the both of them probably weigh 200#.

I measured the front from center of hub to the limited flare lower corner and it was 22 1/8".

The rear measured from center of hub to the limited flare lower corner and it was 23 1/8".

I was researching some ideas to level it up and the only things I can think of is;

1. Put OME 883 coils up front with maybe the ToyTec 1/2" topout spacer.

2. Put ToyTec/Eibach 3" front coils in that have a 620 # weight rating to them.

3. Find a 1" topout spacer to add to the top to get the extra 1" I need to get this 4Runner leveled up.

I just want some ideas from others on here that probably has messed with different combinations to get their 4Runner to sit level.

Get some Tundra 5100's and call it a day. No more spacers or buying all new front components. It will be the cheapest route and you can adjust the ride height. I'm picking up some tomorrow for my Tundra coils. Okay problem solved.
 
What is the normal price of the Tundra 5100 struts?

Is that cheaper than the ToyTec/Eibach 3" front coils - $150?

You can get them for $180-190 shipped. The Eibach 3" coils are cheaper alone, but what shocks are you going to use? Typically people use 4runner 5100's with those for the best ride. I don't believe your Tundra struts will work with the Eibachs but I could be wrong.
 
I'm just running normal 4Runner Monroe Sensa Trac Gas struts in the front at the moment.

Is that price for each or the pair of struts?

That's for both shipped. Since you already have Tundra coils it would be a great match. The TRD's and the 5100's is what Sonoran Steel sells as the front setup to their 1.2 lift. A lot of member have them on their 4runner and love the ride and adjustability of the 5100's especially with a bumper.
 
I have 891 and 883, perfectly level now. It was low in the front when I first put it together because I had the front spring seats upside down on the OME struts. According to Doug at toytec I'm not the only idiot that does it, they said it happens all the time. Rides nice.

with that front end set up, there's a lot of weight up there. I have a very similar setup (tacoma arb/xrc8 winch) and my front end with 882 coils have sagged a lot. I vote for the 883's or the eibachs (heard a lot of good things about these on ttora) to help carry that weight around.
 
I called Chas at AJUSA and he didn't have the Tundra front 5100 adjustables in stock until the end of the week, so I ordered a set from Wheelers and they will be here Wednesday.

More $$ at Wheelers, but I get them in 1-2 days and I can install them this coming Saturday.

The front of my 4Runner should ride much nicer when it's done and sit how I want it to.............:thumb3:
 
Nice, I picked mine up on Saturday. I'm pumped because I found a brand new set for $100. I'm looking forward to the ride difference. Hopefully I can get them in within the next couple of weeks.
