Yes, was just going to say the same. upholstery isn't matched to he front and OP on yotatech mentions where he bought it from. mounting would probably involve drilling some holes through the bed and mounting some sort of brackets. pass.

My little boy is 18 now, so I would not put him or his friends back there. I would probably just remove it and sell the 3rd row seat anyway.

How do you know you dont have an inclination sensor, did you take apart your cluster and search the circuit board for it?
The level sensor is provided in the combination meter to detect the inclination of the vehicle.
Read your own text. It's the "combination meter" I don't seem to have (unless "combination meter" is just another way of saying "instrument panel.")

I don't have a supercharger so honestly don't know where to look for it, but if that runner checks out by a mechanic I would deal with the 7th injector later. Looks like a good find, you'd be paying 8-9k for that in CO.
Is that a sticker for when the timing belt was changed under the cone of the sc? Mine has a sticker with date and mileage for the change out right about where that sticker is in the pic.

That's a Limited. You can tell by the fender flare shaping and how they mount flush with the factory running boards. That does look pretty clean, and those FJ wheels are pure sex on 3rd generations. I'd take the drive to check it out if I were you:boink:

thanks for the reply, I just can't line up how it can be a limited with the hood scoop. Also it lists being a 5-speed. I'll give them a call and find out.

Huh, that's strange, I guess I missed where it said 5 speed. I initially went with Limited because of the flare shape, but also noticed it has the Limited cladding along the doors as well. Maybe the previous owner added all of the Limited exterior parts to a Sport?:shrug: Curious to see what you find out
Edit: The picture is really crappy, but I swear that I see the outline of the Limited badging on the rear pillar. My best guess is that it's a Limited with a Sport hood and they checked the wrong transmission box

Just called the guy. He verified that it has a 5-speed and a locker. And it's a Colorado truck. So maybe the FJ wheels indicate the previous owner was a Toyota guy and was switching out the fender flares for looks?

Turns out that isn't the actual picture of the truck, cause they just got it in. I am still going to check it out Saturday morning. Hopefully I will soon own a clean Highlander with 5-speed and locker!
I just plugged the number into the VIN database and it shows that it's a 5 speed. I would so love to get that one. Good luck with it.

99 upgrades
Okay the 99 year had a lot of changes... Starting with the headlights changed from the ugly thick glass to a clear front glass. second, the limiteds had a change from the chrome bumper to one that was color cordinated and sticks out further. Third is the interior. the limiteds had the newer t-case and clock relocated. the automatic a/c control unit and they started all them with the 5 spoke rims(which i like better) i am unsure if the t-case and auto a/c also came in the SR5 models but these are just some of the changes. also the rear window switch was relocated. any other questions just ask. I would say its an amazing steal.

So I bought a '99 4runner highlander yesterday! 5-Speed, E-Locker, Green. One Colorado Owner, 133,000 miles. Only flaw is a small transmission whine in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gear. (ouch). Also it has no roof rack, or rear spoiler, but it does have small and bald tires.
Anyway i'll have pics up soon, and hello highlander club!
