99 console into a 98...?

I was reading one of those sticky posts about 4runners and it said in 99 they introduced a brand new one, w/ dual cupholders and such. Is this fittable into my 98? Thanks in advance!

EDIT-I HAVE A 1997 not 98. Sorry!

Some people have changed the cup holders. It is a bit of a pain, but it can be done. Here is a detailed write up on it.

Well maybe not a ton. You do have to do some modifcations of the new pieces and move some wires. Still it can be done. Here is a link at YotaTech talking about the conversion.
