99 Highrunner build con't

About six months ago i picked up Mike's previously owned by Fireball's 99 Highlander Ed 4 runner with 83k on it.

He had a pretty good thing going so I just wanted to build on it while keeping it my DD and at the same time a functioning off road and camping rig.

Being in Indianapolis it was a good year to ditch the accord and get a 4X4. (lots of snow)

Anyways so in addition to what Fireball had done to it here are my additions:

toytec ultimate lift/ OME 906's 5150 Bilstein
aftermarket 16X8 black wheels (can't think of the brand but got at discount tire)
aftermarket corbeau seat heater (real pain to install BTW)
Custom made Whitson roof rack with spare tire mount custom made.
Line-xd whitson roof rack
Installed 4 KC lights on roof rack
-I am pre-emptively answering the questions
I ran my wire all along the drivers side of the roof rack through the gromet into the back by the speaker where I mounted my fuse holders and relays. I used 14 Ga. to accomplish that wire run due to the length. From the battery I ran 4Ga. all the way to the back, i hid it all behind the side panels except for the fuse holders and relays.

Let me know what you guys think.

Most useful part so far has been the seat heater.
(although the original fuse holder with a 10 amp fuse was useless so I used a different one with a 25 amp)




Future mods:

Tranny cooler bypassing radiator.
Gobi ladder
Possibly a snorkel?

Nah, that's what the rear wheel, bumper and door sills are for.

I'm partial to the gobi... It complements the whitson rack perfectly

I vote yes to the rack. It will be both aesthetically pleasing with the current rack and it will be useful when needing to get up there.

What size tires are you running? Height looks good for a DD with the 906's. What height did you set the fronts at, I'm assuming around 2-2.5 as it looks level with the rear. That's what I'm looking to do.

I'm currently running bf Goodrich all terrains
265-75/16. Which I think are perfect for a daily driver.

The front coilovers are adjustable so yes I just leveled
Them out with the 906's. it took a few times to get it perfect.

Also I think I'm going to try my luck at a dual battery setup.

Nice that's the exact set up I'm after. I don't suppose you would post up some more pictures of the rig so I can daydream at my future set up?

can't seem to get the pictures to turn to the side, but you can kind of see where the wire was run to the already existing grommet in the rear and hidden behind all the panels only exposing the relay and fuse holders (for ease of maintenance access).

The weak cam gusset tabs were all bent so I ordered the beefy ones from total chaos and had my local guy weld them up for me and while at it we replaced the cam bolts and control arm bushings! We just air chiseled off the old tabs and today I rattle canned bed lined the welds to prevent future rust
