Sir,

I like what you've done with your power inverter. I do see that it is a 175 watt max.

I want to know, is it safe to split the power from one a/c outlet into two as you have done?

I would imagine that whatever you plug into one of the outlets, it has to be a total of 175 watts. but if you use both outlets, it has to be split evenly to total 175 watts...right?

^^^One more question. My 'npower inverter'^^^I wanted to know....all I have to do is get power directly from the battery to the positive stud on my inverter and the negative has to go to a ground if I want to hardwire it into my 4runner? Or do I have to put the negative post from the inverter straight to the battery's negative post?

just ground the negative to something sturdy (i used frame) ya i just have a 175 right now but will be upgrading it to atleast 500w. i primarily use it for charging laptops etc while on trips. Im not too sure about splitting the load tho.. but i know it is fine to wire the outlet

Will you be using a 'pure sine wave' or 'modified sine wave'? I read that a smaller (450-500 watt) pure sine wave is good and using a larger wattage modified sine wave is good practice too.

haha well i think you have outthought this one.. or myself. Im only using it for small items like phone/comp charger etc maybe speakers but they max at 75 or so

IMO, Pure vs Modified Sine Wave inverters:

If all you're using the inverter for is charging batteries (Tools, Laptops, Phones) then a Modified will work just fine. I have a 1000w MSW Inverter in my work truck that powers a small microwave, charges the batteries on all of my tools, phones and computers reliably. Hell, I even run a 4 1/2" angle grinder and a small shop vac from it sometimes.

If you are directly powering a PC (Tower and monitor) with a laser printer, some 120v florescent lights and your Grandmas oxygen pump, then a Pure Sine Wave is for you.

so they install the wheels and they are SMOOSHED against the upper control arms... wow good thing I noticed.. and they didnt. so i threw on 1/4" spacers and got home but i will be needing 1/2". my alignment has me with a little positive camber so i guess that made the difference.. wow. The wheel wobbles only about half a centimeter or so back and worth.. could this be the balancing??

Only the 1/4" washers. Still rub some... Eek gotta get a set from the states online, I don't particularly want to pay 250 from lordco

im trying im trying.. they were closed today after i was done work and i dont think i can get there tomorrow as well. So either way we do another trip soon after this one if i dont make it. I also need new steering rack bushings and a bearing.. but pff thats childs play

what size do you think i should run.. i have 1/4" and i need a bit more so should i keep it simple with 1" or go a little bigger (since its the same price up until 1.5" .. thoughts?

agh hale creek is awesome, i dont think ill be making it but we will see.. i went for a test run today and i have serious rubbing issues (mainly up front at UCA's so i will try and make it to the surrey NSOR where they have the right spacers in stock)
