OKay gents the spacers are on... woot woot.
so question, the nuts were acorn style but not with a closed end.. so you could spin them on at either end. I put them on with the smaller diameter part going into the holes on the spacers.. is this okay? Or does it not matter.. i figured since they were a little smaller in diameter they may fit into the hole in the spacer easier..
OH AND i got my LED's in the mail .. damn if i had known you could buy the sun for only $25..

so those spacers are going and 1" spacers are coming in.. my studs dont give me enough grab on the nuts to make me feel confident, especially since they are not hub centric.
I have 2 extra hella 500's laying around and tho i MUCH prefer the look of rectangular lights on the rear i figured what the hell for now these will do

so finally conquered the steering rack bushings and cleaned out the throttle body as well as MAF sensor.. wow the bushings were a PITA, but awesome improvement! They fixed my alignment so my wheel is finally centered.
how did you support the truck to get this shot? I'm seeing two jack stands with no contact and no jacks, cool shot though :wow:
i got that same bedliner product this week for $4 each, so i grabbed two as well

I had one hand taking the photo and i used my other arm to support the truck
Haha uhmm i had my 3.5 ton jackstands on the rails and just reached in there, those were my.. back up jackstands (2 tons.. probably snap if the truck dropped on them anyway haha)

so finally finished up the rear bumper.. the only thing that prompted me to paint it was all the dents/surface rust and scratches from the PO. here are some shots.. more bedliner i think i like it. Also got my hands on a 1st gen roll bar, did some cutting/grinding today not just going to weld to mounting plates back on annnd of course paint er up. Ive been contemplating red... but maybe that will get old fast??
oooh and thanks to the 4runner.. got us a new (to us) basketball hoop

Nice progress man! The truck is looking good! I've always like the 1st Gen roll bar, but fear I'll lose some of the utility of my cargo area..... as I've put furniture in that baby in the past!
As far as the steering rack bushings, do you need to do an alignment after doing these?? I'm doing my tie rod today or tomorrow and then an alignment. I was planning on doing the steering rack bushings at a later date, but if I have to do an alignment after doing so, I'll have to wait till I do the rack.....???
