I just made it through your whole thread, and I love your truck man. Everything looks great. Mostly I'm commenting though cause I was shocked when I saw you went to McPherson College! I had a brother go there and another almost go into the Auto-Restoration program. Is that what you're doing down there? My wife and I looked into it (the college) but we ended up at Wichita State.

This bumper is so legit! I want one!All of January term I was busy building my bumper. I am super happy with the results. I think it works better for me than any of the existing options. I kept everything as low profile and close to the body as I could while still having enough clearance for flex. After building it I can now understand why these bumpers are so expensive! More pictures, and a full write-up are in my http://www.toyota-4runner.org/3rd-gen-t4rs/213656-99-sr5-highlanders-rear-swing-out-build.html, but here are the finished pictures.
I still need to pick up a matching spare, so for now I'm stuck with a fat ugly one.

Found a cool little spot here in the middle of Kansas called Coronado Heights. Fun little getaway. Got some kinda cool pictures too.

Nice! sounds like a good start! Yes I'm running the 7 wraps in back. up front I have stock highlander springs with .25 top plate spacers and Bilstien 5100s on the 2nd or 3rd perch, I honestly can't remember. I had quite a bit of a rake (probably close to 2 inches) without the rear tire carrier, but now it sits pretty close to level. Keep in mind, stock weight would sit significantly higher.

Oh, forgot to post my new hood graphic. I got the idea from [MENTION=44220]BigFishAllDay[/MENTION] 's new tacoma and absolutely loved it, but its based on the hood graphic on 1988 Toyota pickups.

Did a short little trip last weekend to an off road park called Tuttle Creek. We camped Friday night right next to the lake, got to try out the new table on the swing out. Everything worked great!

It's cool you've had it in your life since you were 7. I just picked up my 4Runner and my 4 year old loves it. He's already asking me to lift it and throw on bigger tires. Maybe he'll be driving this thing in 12 years.

I really dig your rig and the history behind it. I also like your Mickey Thompson Classic III rims. What backspacing do you have? I was considering those or the almost identical Pro Comp 7069s. Any particular reason you went with the Mickey Thompsons over something else?
