99 SR5 turn signals just quit working

Very weird. They were always okay, then just stopped working halfway tru a road trip. Emergency flashers still work fine, fuses and flasher relay are good. Both systems use the one flasher right?

Anybody ever seen this happen? Is the turn signal lever/switch bad? Do these just fail? How hard to remove & replace?

EDIT: I was able to try a good turn signal switch and it still did not work! I am out of ideas. HELP!

See if any of this helps. Fortunately when it happened to me it was just the hazard button being a little loose. Pushed it back in and that fixed the problem.

Edit: make sure that all of your fuses and relays are pushed in all the way and try using a multi meter to test the wiring itself. I just re read your post and I'm not sure the link I provided will be much help. Good luck and keep us posted.

To answer one of your questions, yes one flasher for both functions.
