A 17 year old's 99 4runner

So what is the most cost efficient, yet still good quality lift for me?

Tundra 5100s and Land cruiser shocks/springs

Woohoo, another 17 year old! As far as getting parts on a budget, I've gotten to know the guys at the junkyard very well. The parts are used which is slightly risky, but they are usually oem parts that are better quality than aftermarket, and their a lot cheaper!

I try to stay away from body lifts. When off-roading, your goal is to keep the center of gravity low, while still clearing massive tires, lots of suspension flex, and lots of ground clearance. A body lift only helps to clear massive tires, and even then you don't really NEED one.

I'd go 3inch suspension lift, no body lift.

Keep in mind he said a budget. I doubt there are massive off roading or mountains in Florida especially in Tampa. Lol. I use to love in st. Pete

Which is part of the reason I've pretty much decided on going with the daystar 2.5 spacer kit. :high5:

First order of business was tires, and removing running boards/fender pieces

Sugar Sand and 2wd was a big NO NO. Learned my lesson there (Just keep it in 4WD off pavement)
