A/C drain tube: normal?

Hey guys,

Looking for a rattle, I noticed the A/C drain tube leaking water directly onto the frame. Isn't there a tube "extension" so water doesn't leak right onto the frame? Maybe it came from the factory like this or I'm missing a tube?

Mine is in the same place and almost 11 years later, Not a single spec of rust.

Really? I guess they don't use that salt-solution SHIT that they use to "salt" the roads in winter in Georgia. Urghhhh, crap gets EVERYWHERE. I usually go to a self car wash to try to take all of the salty grime off of my truck, but you can never get ALL of it. Hate living in the "rust belt".

Ok then, so I'm seeing that my plug is normal. I'm going to assume that it dumping A/C condensation water onto the frame isn't an issue.

It gets pretty hot around that area so i dont think it will be an issue. and anything remaining will drop down.

They do it just doesn't snow here every year and when it does it turn into 2 inches of solid ice everywhere.
