A/C Stank!!

My A/C is really starting to smell now. The weather is getting warmer in SoCal and the A/C will be needed soon.

Does anybody know where the drain hose for the A/C is? I'm thinking it's clogged and a lot of "schmutz" has built up.

Any other ideas of eliminating stench?

I would appreciate if somebody actually responded...

I found what apperas to be the drain tube but I can't get any wire far into it because of crazy angles.

The smell is still in the system. What should I do?

when you say drain, you asking about the drain for the EVAP coming from the airbox?

Id check you cab filter under the glove box and your air ducts. filter is probably rotting away or you have a mouse in a duct or something. Easy temporary fix is dryer sheets in the dash vents.

I'm assuming that's what it is...

It exits on the passenger side near the inside of the front tire.

I just checked the filter under the glove box and it is rotting away.

Are there replacement ones on the market?

if the filter is rotting away some of it could still be in the airbox and realy the only true way of cleaning it out is to take it apart.

Well if I do that I'm going to need a replacement filter to put on when I reassemble it.

What about the cowl vents? If something fell in there it could be rotting away technically right?

What would happen if I just ran some water through there? Anything bad?
