I have been digging into the A/C system recently on my 86 (22re). So far I have only had to replace the dryer and discharge hose, here in lies the problem. The discharge hose would not come off the condenser and is tearing the hell out of upper tube despite my best attempts to prevent it from happening.
So...
Has anyone had any luck or tried repairing any of the tubes that mount to the hoses on it. The guy at the parts store says the GM style tube will work, but I don't know if I'd be better off replacing the whole condenser. I would rather not drop the extra 260 bones if i don't have to.
