I have tried a few different brands of disposable gloves for working on projects that require something more heavy duty than a prostate exam. I found these and after using them on different projects, I like them enough to go ahead and buy more:

I also picked up this rechargeable work light. Very bright at 3 settings. You get about 4 hours of use at the brightest. Magnet attachment and hooks. It really helped doing valve cover gaskets yesterday. It can be charged with a USB port too.

The trick is to get the thick stuff. Here in Canada I've been getting the "Grease Monkey" brand which comes in 8 mil nitrile. I have medium hands, but I get the large size. You loose a bit of touch by going up a size, but the convenience of easily being able to take them off (after you are hot and sweaty) to scratch your nose, grab a drink, or whatever is worth it. There's also the benefit in that because they don't easily tear, you can wipe down and reuse the nitrile gloves many many times.

I too am a fan of the venom work gloves. they aren't the cheapest but they get the job done and don't tear as easily as thinner white latex. Lately though, I've been a fan of a 9 pack of "disposable" work gloves from costco that cost like $5. I've been on the same, first, pair since I got them. they're grippy, light, and breathable. I bought those Venom gloves a while back and thought they were pretty good. Recently started running out and decided to try a different brand. Picked up a box of Ammex gloves and I prefer them far over the Venoms. The fit feels much better as well as they have a nice texture to them that helps with grip.

I too have been using the Venom gloves for about a year now and they really do the job. I buy them at Menards.

to hell with the gloves they rip so I use zolex hand cleaner works great. I gave these to the wife.
