Since my son went to the trouble of detailing my 4Runner this weekend, I thought I'd post a couple quick pics of it before I get it dirty again (read: later today 
).
I don't really plan on doing a "build" like many here do, but I have made a few mods out of necessity, and will continue to do so as necessity dictates.
So far, I've done the following:
Husky mats throughout
Factory crossbars on roof rack
Slee Hi-Lift bracket for factory crossbars
Malone folding kayak saddle on factory crossbars
led interior lighting (precision led 8000k kit)
scuba mod
Garmin 2597LMT GPS mounted in iTrek Cup Holder Mount
Window Tint
Retractable cargo cover
Techstream cable and software - Reprogrammed a bunch of "dealer options" myself (seat belt chime, light delay, etc.)
Coming soon:
Alarm system
Better tires (going to run the factory tires for a few months and see if I'm going to lift it or not....Once I make that decision, I'll invest in the tires).
Considering, but not sure I need to:
Better skid plates
Lift
Bigger tires and different wheels (only if I lift it)
Better rack
Anything I do will really be out of necessity, and I'll run it as-is for awhile to see where the needs arise. For example, I knew I needed to do the scuba mod, as axle-deep water is a common occurrence here in FL on almost any trail. I'm not convinced that I need to swap out the factory skid plates, or lift it yet....but time and use will tell.
