That tree looks pretty dead. I would cut it down.

I have been considering it and I think this is my sign. There was no wind when this occurred. It’s just falling apart.

If you want to see something ridiculous, look on the ground to the right of the tree. That’s my WATER METER. House built in the 80’s and our water lines are that brittle gray plastic.

Only been here 4 years but this tree was a really bad placement whomever decided to plant it here. It’s time.

Close call! Our neighbor that lives across the street from us had their huge tree fall into our street a couple years ago, it rotted from the inside out. The trunk was probably 3' feet in diameter. Luckily no cars were seriously damaged.

I am surprised the tree roots did not damage the water line to the meter.
