A-Ha's Build.

 Nice but why the 650lbs ?

You will enjoy the ride on the Radflos for sure!

because they didnt offer 700lb springs from toytec. lol or were you questioning why not stick with the standard 600lb springs.

still planning on a bumper an winch and dual battery's up front plus weight from under skids figured the 650 would do the job

700 lbs all the way just like mine, I didn't know where you ordered them from I know MetalTech can offer the 700 lbs coils and you could of ordered directly from Radflo,

:hatsoff:

yeah, I checked around toytec wound up being the cheapest way to go. everyone else wants about 1200 for the 700lb setup I got the spanner wrench and 2.5 shock bodies plus the 650lb springs for 1041 including shipping with the t4r discount they offer.

well I take that back for 50 more bucks I could of had 50 more pounds of springs rate from metal tech. oh well the deed is done.

When did you order them? You may be able to cancel and reorder from MetalTech if you wanted the 700 lbs instead? Up to you. I think you will be happy either way :clap2:

just placed the order this morning so i could cancel but then I'd just have the same thing as you and that's just not cool haha

thanks for lookin out though I'm confident I'll be pleased, plus I think the 886 coils I have up front are like 710lb's and they're crazy stiff lol

I don't know that much about CO's but with a lesser spring rate (650<710 or whatever 886's are) will you be able to achieve the same amount of lift?

yeah the radflo's are adjustable so as you add weight you just crank them on up to the desired lift. where as my front sits higher now than it would with a bumper on it and I wouldn't be able to get the height back.

They'll feel fine if you ever get around to putting a front bumper/winch on that rig ! :thumb:

I'm sure of that lol that's what they're rated for. I'm looking into bumper orders right now. I want the radflo's A.) because I'm a brand whore B.) adjustable and rebuildable. C.) to maintain the front height I have after bumper install.

I hear you, the 700 lbs coils ride very nice, smooth and are not harsh or stiff at all IMO, even without a bumper. The valving, damping, rebound, compression rate and spring rate was dialed in perfect for our vehicles. I'm sure the 650's will treat you right.

we shall certainly find out, kinda the cool thing about you, PD and I all around the same area running different setups really opens up the options and there performance.

Placing an order for a front CBI bumper this morning.

going with bare metal no hoops.. I have some custom plans for when it gets to my machine shop :D

Well you suck, lol. Cograts man! Interested to see how your plans for hoops. I like the angry eyes look i've seen on some Tacos. Just putting it out there so you know I called it first. ;):

I certainly need one of these bad boys. It would of came in handy last weekend,

all I'm leaking out right now is there will be some square tubing getting welded on. :artist:

no winch at this point though gonna have to push that purchase off a couple months.

This was the straw that broke me down into deciding it was time to get some steel up there.. pushed the bumper up into that passenger side area I had already damaged on that tree at gulches...

:fish2:That's about what I looked like on Saturday, lol. Out back was nasty. I was this close to calling PD to get me but managed to get out myself. Bumper and a winch are high on my list right now, not sure about square tubbing but i'm sure you know what you like :) Interested to see how it looks. Can you bend 2" round DOM tubing? Trucks coming along nicely. WHat's the lead time on your CBI bumper?

Shoulda called... I'm jelous. All you guys getting to get out and get dirty. Austin getting stuck every day with them bald ass MTZ's and ruining the bumper he just bought from me, lol! I've not even had time to deal with the handful of little issues I need to address regarding my truck. :(

I haven't any tube bending or rolling capabilities unfortunately. I should see the bumper the first week of april, they give a 4 week lead time anyway so we'll see.

I feel square tubing may play into the angles of the bumper better perhaps. we'll see what my fab skills can dream up

Um... It IS the 1st week of April brotha.

I've got access to benders if we need them. I got access to everything we need. Just need a heads up.
