A trip to Citrus to see what my SR5 could do....

Went to Citrus Wildlife Park in Florida for a camping trip with mgrande and his 2009 Tacoma DCLB. This was the first real offroading adventure for the both of us and we had a GREAT time! I was so happy with how my SR5 handled everything (still stock)....was able to use ATRAC a lot! Just thought I would share some pics and videos.

and i actually do have a question. What is this plastic piece for underneath the front end? It's such a crappy piece of plastic that it was ripped off in the first hour. Do I need to replace it or is it ok to leave it off?

AFAIK that plastic piece is an SR5/limited only air deflector thingy. The TE doesn't have it, and a few people have removed them from their SR5s. Pointless trim. Consider it an upgrade to have it removed.

I would remove the pastic section. Their are 2 section. The first plastic piece underneath the air intake is easy to pop off since it is just 4 attachments clips. The other piece on the main front bumper section requires you to remove the whole section and cut the attachment pieces since they are similar to plastic rivots. This section can be removed using a socket wrench which I found to be the easiest

I included a couple pictures of mine without the front spoiler. IMO it looks a better and it adds a couple inches to the approach angle.

No, the long bed tacoma's only get trac, so I'm stuck with lsd's front and rear. An ARB locker is on the wish list though.
