Finally got time to swap out the rear shocks! My rig has needed these shocks for a long time.

Install was a PITA! Only because of the top bolt was completely seized. I finally had excuse to buy a sawzall and hacked them off.

Drove it around and can tell an immediate difference. Very excited to test these out on the trail.

Yup! They are the Extended Travel 2.0s. Been driving it all day and love them

Finally installed my head unit and JL sub and amp! The sound is perfect. Not too loud but enough to have some definition to the songs.

The back up camera is so nice with the rear tire carrier. Didn't know how much I needed one until I finally got it.

Bobby, the sound for me is exactly what I was looking for. Just an upgrade to the stock JBL and gives that true depth to a song that I've been missing and isn't overkill bass. I listen to a lot of country but also listen to a lot of rock and reggae-rock (Rebelution, Dave Matthews Band, OAR, etc) and so when I want that loud pure sound its perfect for me.

How long have you had it? Do you still like it or are you wishing you went bigger? I dont think I will want to go bigger but just wondering what your experiences has been from the time you have had it.

I really like having mine. It sounds great and fits with some mirror modification. After adjusting the gain settings and installing a remote volume control knob I can turn it up or down. That helps because my little guy and wife don't like to much of the low frequencies. I don't think I will need bigger at all. Added the level of bass to the sound stage that was missing before.

Haha it was 2 day but that has since been removed.

After the order completed I found out part of it is on back order because of black friday so I had them change it and refund the shipping back to me.

Girlfriend has to study for a nursing final today so I grabbed the dogs and went up to play in some snow. Took it easy and only drove some simple trails and powerline trails. Had a good time! :lookout:

A lot of electrical which is not my strong point at all. Nervous about the retrofit but going to take my time and pray it goes like it should! :cheers:

Went to do my retrofit headlights and found out I'm missing my bulb holders from The Retrofit Source. :mad2:

These are the pieces I'm missing (picture stolen from [MENTION=51033]97BlackAckCL[/MENTION] )

Had to reinstall everything and will have to restart once I hear back from them tomorrow.

Just heard back from The Retrofit Source, their mistake and they are "looking for some to ship out." Hopefully it will be here shortly and I can get the retrofits going.

You and me both! I had the whole day to do them and was pumped but then had to stop. So frustrating.

But they are going to ship them out priority so hopefully I can get them and do them next sunday!
