Doug, you're going to love the sPOD it makes wiring up everything super easy and convenient.
I would have looked at Baja Designs for lighting needs. I know they're an expensive option but after checking them out I'm sold. Can't wait to see you're feedback on the lighting though. Excited for you.
The diff seals are not to bad. I know the pass side can be a pain but once it's set right no worries.

I'm excited to get it going but it probably wont happen until after the new year. I'm driving up to Bend, OR to spend the holidays with the family so won't have much time.

Really excited for the lighting. I dont know if I'm going to use all of them but we'll see.

Where do you plan to place the 6 switch set up? I ended up putting mine behind the cup holder in the little black storage compartment. I wanted to put it in the sunglasses holder put it was to big to fit without fabbing up a new hinge to or door closer.

Thats probably where I will end up putting it as well. I actually use my sunglass holder so trying to think of spots to put it.

We'll see what I end up doing.

Nice! The entire family came together and we got a sweet house in Sun River. I dont know exactly where or anything but I remember the area was called Bennington Properties or something like that.

So, trip up to Bend was interesting.

Arrived in Sunriver on the 23rd and truck ran perfectly. Woke up and pilled the family into the 4Runner and hit Mt. Bachelor and had a great day snowboarding. Surprisingly it was empty and we had no lift lines.

My girlfriend had to work on Christmas so on the 24th she took the 4runner and headed down. Two hours after she left I got a call. She was freaking out and could only go 20 MPH.

She made it home and was able to get in her Suburu and make it back the day after Christmas.

Turns out I had the infamous Secondary Air Injection Failure. There is a bypass but I decided to just fix it right and correctly.

Should be out of the shop tomorrow!

With that, today I contacted Rigid because I hadn't heard anything regarding my lights. Turns out they are waiting on a couple lights. I just cancelled my order and will be purchasing them elsewhere or going a different route.

They were super understanding. I sent them an email stating that I placed my order on the 18th and I understand that you close for Christmas and NYE but not hearing anything regarding my order and not receiving it yet is ridiculous, etc etc.

They responded with:

I want to be the first to apologize about the wait and lack of communication on our end. The hold-up is due to our optic supplier having discrepancies within the last couple shipments. This is in regards to part 93251 (SR-M2 Diffused FM). We unfortunately have had to turn away the last two shipments because they did not pass our quality control standards. The remaining parts (20631 & 93512) are currently in stock and reserved for you. Normally we ship online orders complete, however, I can push to get the rest of the product on this order out to you. I unfortunately believe we are still roughly 1-2 weeks out for the part 93251 if this shipment of optics is up to par. I fully understand the bother of this situation on your end and I apologize again about this mishap. Please let me know if there is anything else I can do for you.

I told them I was appreciative of their quality control but would like to cancel my order.

They gave me a full refund and actually told me to go check out Amazon as there are more dealers on there and the prices are normally cheaper.

Look up Iggy lights on the Tacoma forum. Pretty awesome and cheaper than Rigid. I have 4 pods and a bar.

Installed my hood scoop light bar thanks to [MENTION=131444]C4 Fabrication[/MENTION]. I have had this thing sitting in my garage waiting to be installed for about a year :biggrin1:

I used Rigid. I bought the whole kit from C4. To fit another bar you would have to find one with EXACT measurements as the bracket was a very tight fit. But I'm sure there is one out there.

They have a wizard that you input your vehicle info and it spits out what you need for gears.

So I ended up sticking with Rigid and not going with another company. They seemed the best for what I was looking for.

Installed my alley lights but haven't wired yet.

Mounted my sPOD but haven't installed switches yet

Can't wait to get all of those wires cleaned up
