So I ended up sticking with Rigid and not going with another company. They seemed the best for what I was looking for.

Installed my alley lights but haven't wired yet.

Mounted my sPOD but haven't installed switches yet

Can't wait to get all of those wires cleaned up

HAHAHA! You have no idea. It was bugging me so bad.

It will be gone by this weekend.

Those alley lights are stealthy. Would like to see some night shots once you get them wired up. Is there enough clearance with the hood closed for the sPOD on top of the fuse box? Looks good.

Hey Bobby, ya I can't wait to get them wired up and going.

Ya the sPOD fits perfectly there. It actually hits just a little on the bottom right corner (if you're looking at it from the front like the picture shows) but it only rubs on the heat mat or whatever that pad is on the bottom of the hood and very little.

Really pumped to hook it up and clean that mess up.

Looks great! I love my side lights,, Do you have them wired separately? L&R. Mine are both on the same switch but if I were to do it over I would wire them separately. Nice location to for all the switches:thumb3: I always wanted to do something with that space I always felt like it was a wasted space.

Thanks man! Ya I NEVER used that little pocket for anything so it was perfect spot for the switches. Going to be ordering some new switches though instead of the basic red ones. Others have used the sunglasses holder location for those switches but I use mine so I wanted to keep that.

I do have my lights wired Left and Right. I dont think I will always need the lights on both sides so this just seemed better for me. I was just looking at your rig the other day and really like your basket and light set up. Looks great! :rockon:

Haha I said I didn't know if I would be able to. It is so last minute for me where I was able to finish things yesterday to get a day to get out.

I promise you I am dying to get out there and going to try and make it work.

Purchased a 2017 TRD Off Road Premium.





While I am super excited for the next adventure it does mean I will be splitting ways with my 2005. I will miss this 4Runner more than I can probably imagine but I am excited to be getting into a newer vehicle. This 4th gen has been such an amazing experience!

Putting 35s on the 5th gen? If I ever sold my truck, I always wanted to post it in the "what did you do to your 4Runner today?" thread. "Sold it" :cry2:

Don't think I am going to go 35's, at least not for awhile. I will be adding some height to it with some bigger tires but nothing crazy.

That day of "sold it" will unfortunately come and will be extremely bittersweet but the next owner will be getting a very nice rig! Will miss that v8!

A lot of the reason for me was gas. My girlfriend and I have been doing a lot more long trips and I was having to fill up more than I was liking to. To a point where I was uncomfortable if I didn't know if I had enough gas to get get to the next point.

There is no doubt that I am going to miss this rig and that I won't get my money back on it but I knew that going into it.

I also really like these 5th gens aesthetics. For me there was the perfect set up at a price I couldn't pass up.
