Hi new to site,
Question concerning my 4 runner, its a 2000 SR5 4wheel drive, leather no sun roof not really different than a limited. I have garaged keep it, detailed it and have had all maintenance done at the local dealership. The truck has 68k and is in perfect shape(was). My daughter just rear ended some one, damage to my truck is now at 44% or 4250. The collision center stated, the estimate may increase after tear down.

If it exceeds 65% than the insurance company will consider it totaled.
Before the accident if you were to offer me 20k I would have turned you down, solely on the fact that I would not be able to replace this truck for that price.

Question is what do I do If the insurance co. totals it???

all help is welcomed

For one, you'd be foolish to not take $20g's for it. 2, buy it back from the insurance co and have it fixed.

agree

please search, 2000-2004 four runner or taco, 4x4 in excellent condition, less than 70k miles, all maintenance records from one dealership, one owner, this truly is (was) a Sunday go to meeting truck. If you find one for 12k please let me know I'm interested.
Thank you for your replies

PS my toy is a 77 bronco, 35's 3.5 SL, 302 EFI, long arms, 3.5 Wild Horse coils/leafs d20 w/tera low gears, ARB front/rear, 31 spline 9", D44 with RCV shafts running 4:56, and a whole lota other stuff. Not a FNG ya hear?

Your vehicle is worth 12k max.

I traded my 2001 4x4 for an FJ Cruiser back in 07 for 14.4 and I was glad to get it.

What is this notion of 4Runner owners that their vehicles are worth 60% over market value?

So you are asking strangers on the internet to search for a car for you and PM you when they/we find a good buy.

LMAO hahahaha

He should be so lucky, auction prices in Orlando have these going for 6-8k, given most are 2WD... Mileage really doesn't mean jack with a truck that old.

not looking for your opinions on value

Guess I worded my post wrong. Not looking for whats its worth post. But more on what would you do? If the insurance co. totals it??

Sorry if we got off on the wrong foot
