Hey guys, I helped a friend replace UCA's on his 04 tundra (I know, not a 4runner, but it's the same ABS system, sensors, basic design etc...) and after the work, he has started getting his ABS kicking in when turning into parking spots and the like. I read here that you can stretch the wires, but that typically caused the ABS light to turn on, not excessive ABS activation (he hasn't noticed the ABS light turning on at all).
It's possible we pulled the wires, but I wouldn't think that'd cause the ABS to kick in too much. We took the ABS sensors out to prevent from pulling them while we did the work, but he might have pulled one of them before I got there to help him.
Anyway, maybe it's as simple as a stretched wire, but just wanted to see if anyone has had this on their 4runner, or know why it would kick in too much.
