ABS light on.. please help!

Ok guys, so I've got a 99 SR5 3.4L with manual trans. I live in the Denver, CO area and we've been experiencing some good snow the last few days. Well I was jacking around in my neighborhood drifting around and at one point I had to hit the brakes pretty good and ABS kicked in. Towards the end of me sliding I heard a click/pop sound that was not a normal sound that you hear when ABS is engaged. Now I'm not sure if the ABS light came on right after that but I noticed it was on later in the day when I was driving around in about 7-8 inches of snow in some parking lots. It is not throwing any codes. I thought it might have been a speed sensor that got disconnected but they all seem to be connected so then I thought it might have been possible for one of the speed sensors to just be frozen up or maybe had some snow jammed in it but I left it in my garage overnight and the light is still on today. I tried doing the jump wire between the Tc and E1 ports in the diagnosis box in the engine bay to try and get the abs light to flash a code at me but when I did that the cruise control light and air bag light just flashed repeatedly. And yes I checked the fuse and it appears to be fine. Due to the snow I haven't been able to get under the truck and clean the sensors. I am stumped at this point. If anyone has any input or advice it would be greatly appreciated!!

Have you tried disconnecting the negative on your battery and reset it? Worked like a charm when my abs lights came one for no reason. Also is your abs still working and the light is just on? Or did your abs disengage itself somehow causing the light to go on? Sorry if I missed that part. Hope you figure it out.
