Foolin around with trying to get speed sensor off last night on 2000 4R. Thought I remembered reading the sensor glass can get dirty and cause issues? ABS light was on and after the difficulty of trying to remove one sensor, looked for other issues. Wiring was melted near exhaust. Fixed. Today I have a spongy brake pedal. Would my attempts to move the speed sensor after removing bolt have introduced air into the system?
