Hello all,
Issue: After installing a Daystar 2.5/1.5 inch leveling kit i turned the truck on and immediately i got an ABS, FLASHING CENTER DIFF, AND SLIP LIGHT. I disconnected the battery after the lights wouldnt go off and drove it around but no luck.. I rechecked the hardware and cables and everything was good to go.
Vehicle: 2011 Limited w/ Xreas, 17 inch trail wheels w/ BFG AT's 265/70/17
I just spent the last 4 hours searching and googling and my issue.. I found a few threads with some similar issues but if anyone has had this happen to them (and found the solution) any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
So, after searching I came to the conclusion that we could have jacked up an ABS speed sensor or harness, or i have to do a zero point calibration. I havent had the chance to do the Calibration yet but hopefully this is the fix.. i have the "how to" thread on how to do a Zero pt cal (http://www.toyota-4runner.org/5th-g...celeration-sensor-zero-point-calibration.html) and plan to do it first thing tomorrow morning. If that doesnt work, im going to see if there are any codes thrown and work from there..
like i said, if anyone has had this issue and it isnt in my plan for troubleshooting, please let me know.. I thank you in advance and am greatly appreciative.
