AC/Heat Panel Knob Question

I recently purchased my first 4-runner, 2006 SR5 white......love it. Question is this. I notice at night that out of the 3 control knobs for the ac/heat, the far right knob (the one that has all the positions on it) is lit. The other 2 knobs (the one for temp control and the other for speed) are not lit completely, only showing the arrows for which control is being used. The rest of the icons are not lit. Unless I memorize the settings on the knobs that are not completely lit, I have to turn on the overhead light to switch anything. Is this normal or does this mean a fuse is out?
:nono:

I hate to be ignorant, so that must mean I need to replace the fuse for that? I assume that fuse for the ac/heat lights would be under the dash and would be clearly marked.:nerd:

There are actually small light bulbs in the HVAC unit and that means pulling the unit out and replacing them. There's a thread about replacing those with LEDs that has some pretty detailed pictures with a right up of how to get at them... I'll see if I can find it.

Replacing thos HVAC bulbs is really a simple project, took me like 5 minutes to swap out 4 bulbs, as previosuly stated there are some older threads here that detail this process and have part numbers for the bulbs as well as pictures, good luck!
