Adding backlighting to existing switches?

Is it just me, or is it frustrating that Toyota opted not to backlight the garage door switches and the rear window switch? Everything else is easy to see at night except these switches and I use them a bunch. More than once my wife has (OK, me as well ) accidentally turned off my stability control or A-TRAC pulling in my driveway.

Any way to add light to these switches?
