Adding exterior LED lighting

I found some aluminium LED light strip lights that I would like to put under the running boards on my 4Runner. I noticed that on my '07 when you hit the unlock button the interior lights come on. I was trying to see if anyone might know of a way or how I could wire these LED lights so they come on with my interior lights. I'm completly lost on this one...

I was just going tap into the same wiring for the interior lighting up in the headliner, but the way Toyota has wired the lights on the thing so it's not just 1 simple wire... it's 3. I have never seen this on any other cars I've had before.

Just wanted to see before I try anything else and possibly screw something up.:flamethrwoer2:

I have these under the rocker panels (2 on each side) so they light up my step tubes when i unlock my doors. When i bought my truck it had lighted running boards so when i took them off i still had the wires through the floor.

Thanks! Yea, I am still exploring how to use this website lol. Didn't realize it would be that easy to find! I appreciate your help! I will have to post some before and after pics when I do it.

Those are the ones I have! They work very well, are insanely bright, and hefty! Can't beat $5!
