Adding homelink to Base TE?

I just purchased my 6th 4Runner a few days ago, the most recent was due to number Cinco's involvement in an accident (not my fault). Cinco was a '12 TE which had quite a few more luxuries than my new '14 Base TE has one of which is Homelink.

Back when I owned a few 4th gens you could simply switch out overhead consoles with a Sport or Limited to add the Homelink function and i'm wondering if it's possible on my new rig to do the same, but with a Premium. Has anyone tried this? I'm heading back to Toyota in a couple days and plan on having this conversation with the parts guy.

I McGyvered one in my Titan using a module from ebay Toyota Homelink 3 Button Module Beige 89755 0W020 | eBay . I had to cut the headliner but it wasn't a big deal...worked perfect and had better range than the clicker. There are a few online threads for various vehicles.
