Hey Snow&surf, I've had the prototype on my truck for the last 4 weeks. I will be dropping the truck off with them in the next week and half for the final testing. The truck was put on the dyno with the stock intake and will be put on the dyno one more time once I return the truck with the aftermarket intake. The best part is that we actually get dyno results!
Thanks yeah I have a Moab trip coming up in the next three weeks so I had to get them to build me a rear tire carrier before the trip. They have also built me a roof rack that will be done the same time the rtc is done. Are you going to join everyone on the so-cal meet up?

They came over to my house to remove the prototype today, should be going into production soon. They said that they should have a production intake by the beginning of august to install on my vehicle. So I am assuming shortly after that they should be going into mass production. I will email him right now to confirm.

I have been driving with it on for the last 6+ weeks, I did notice about 3/4 mile per gallon improvement with it on. Top end "feels" stronger but the thing sounds throatier as well so it's hard to tell if it's just my imagination or if it is putting out a bit more HP. A dyno test would be the best way to find out. I also have an extra 800 lb of steel hanging off of my truck so I would imagine mileage gains if any would vary depending on certain mods. But I can tell you that the sound is a night and day difference!

Correct, I believe it refers to the cone material specifically: oiled vs. dry, and then how many layers.

what kind of issue can there be? I mean if you do something to damage your motor, of course, it won't be covered.. outside of that, I see no reason to worry about it.
