Afghanistan Missile Strike Tragedy - Isn't This a 4th Gen?

Something seemed familiar about a vehicle shown in the news coverage of the errant missile strike tragedy that killed members of a family in Afghanistan but only the heavily damaged rear end could be seen. I finally found a wider view and isn't that a 4th Gen 4Runner on the right? I've seen many Toyota trucks in that part of the world but few 4Runners.

All the lines look accurate, even the plastic trim missing around the wheel (know from experience when a tree ripped mine off) ... The wheels look like the same I have on my 2008 limited. I know when I sold my last 2003 4Runner, the dealer told me they ship them over to south west Asia from NY.
