I’d love to have something like this too. The offset of my rims sets my tires out a decent amount, in the winter they really throw snow and slush up onto the side of the 4Runner. I know that comes with the territory with my setup, but a little extra liner like this would really help.
Anyone out there know if this was a custom job or if this can actually be purchased?

Wow looks like that 4Runner has like a 6" body lift, you can see the stock mounts for the bumper underneath the bumper.
I haven't seen anything like that to buy, should be easy to make though. Just take some rubber sheets and attach to the plastic inner fender lip via rivnuts or self-tapping screws, it looks like that's what they did.

Yea, I noticed that body lift too, it’s definitley up there.
You’re probably right on the fact that those fender lips are homemade. They look like they’re either relatively thick, or the outside edge is rolled in some way. It’s hard to tell when I zoom in to see, the picture isn’t the highest quality.
Any idea of what kind of rubber sheet would have a rolled, finished looking edge like this? I’d hate to custom cut something and have a rough, squared off edge on the outside.

That would probably be the tricky part, making the edge look nice. Keeping a factory cut line might be the easiest vs rounding it. But a rounded edge would look nice.

I was actually just looking at these. I think I'll give this a shot. $40 to cover 2 wheel wells is worth a try. If it works then that's a great deal, if they're not great or don't last very long, then I'm not out much money.

I think you’re right on those being the Jaos fender flares, with some kind of additional lip on them. Although I do think they’re the 03-05 style, they look squared off to me, not the rounded style of the 06-09.
I ordered the ez flares tonight, hope to have them on on the next couple weeks. I’ll post pictures once I have them on.

Husky Liners makes both the "long john" and "mud grabber" fender flares. I've only seen the long johns before on other applications. We stocked a few of the long johns for some trucks and they aren't a bad option for the price.

These liners are pretty nice. I wish someone would make something similar to the Artec Industries Jeep fender liners but for Toyota's.
