waiting on cash to buy light tabs then gotta get a friend to tack weld em.....it will be a while...do u think lowes or home depot would have some tabs with holes in em to mount the lights too??? im not in a big hurry either

Ok...couldn't remove my running boards last weekend. Those screws were very hard and also it was very cold outside so I gave up.. so sprayed some wd40 . and finally today it was a very nice and cool day and decided to give it another try after asking some guys to do it and they wanted to charge me $50...Hell no!...50 just to losen some screws?....Jeesh!...well...
I guess the wd40 helped a lot because today removing those running boards was a piece of cake.

I tried at least to mount the brackets for the new tube steps but had a hard time removing the bolts where I suppose to mount them. will try to do it next weekend.

here is a pic of my babygirl without the runningboards.. she is very dirty . But it looks like she was lifted a little...

Hey....don't make fun of my little hammer!!....I didn't use it...I bought it cuz I tought it was cute!...+ its multi-purposse..it has some screw drivers inside...lol

Yes...I got the new ones already...had them for about 2 weeks now...I posted some pics on this thread when I got them..look back on the thread the pics of the step bars are somewhere on this thread.

hey, it worked huh? when u putting the new ones on?
Yeah...it worked...I want to put the new ones this weekend...but I am having a little problem. The screws where I suposse to mount the brackets...wont come off!...they are loosen but I keep turning them and they move/turn but they stay right there in the same place just turning!...I will post a pic of what I am talking about later...I took some pics from under the car so u can see. I got the socket to remove this part but for some reason it wont come off. Maybe I am doing something wrong or need another tool??...Will appreciate some advice...I really want to get this done this weekend.

Already started the process of DIY sanding and painting. Will try to have them painted today ......Hoping to have them mounted by sunday.

Work In Progress!...just to show the difference before and after sanding.
